When is Furze Field and New Acre Field Open?
We are open from April to September. For hardy types we have tent pitches and of course our cosy Camping Pods make the ideal choice for those out of season breaks.
Can we bring our campervan or motorhome?
We have availability for caravans and motorhomes in our Six Acre Field. There is no electric hook up or grey water emptying facility though, so it’s only really suitable for those with inbuilt toilets and a nice quiet jenny.
Can we bring our dog?
Dogs are more than welcome. However we ask that all dogs are kept on leads and under control at all times as the surrounding woodland is full of peasants and deer. Owners are also asked to clean up after their dogs at all times.
Can we have a camp fire?
Absolutely! We believe this is an essential part of your stay. Each camping pitch and Pod has its own fire grate or pit. Bring your own logs/wood or we have big bags available from just £5.00. Let us know your requirements in advance because demand can be high.
How do we cook food?
Campers can cook over their log fires and Pod people are supplied with a barbeque each.
Do we need to book in advance?
Yes, please do book in advance. The high season is very busy and bank holidays even more so.
Can we pay the deposit by card, cheque or bank transfer?
No problem. When you arrive you can settle the outstanding balance with cash.
What time can we arrive to set up?
We are flexible on times. Usually people like to get their tents pitched, or their belongings in the Pods before 7pm, and we ask you to vacate before 11am. Please let us know when booking if you want to discuss your arrival or departure times.
Can we get to you by public transport?
Angmering railway station is two miles south, and in the summer a bus stops half a mile away. We are happy to pick you up from there if you give us a bit of notice and we will arrange in advance.
Can we make a load of noise?
Be reasonable! We want everybody to have a nice peaceful stay with us, so we ask that no radios. IPods, car radios and such like are played. Why not make you own acoustic music, or just whistle a happy tune!
Where can we buy our provisions?
Angmering village is a twenty minute walk away, or you can borrow our vintage delivery bike. Angmering has a variety of excellent small shops, two great pubs, a cosy café, a super butchers and a co-op that has a brilliant bakers in-house. There is also, just along the road, a dinky farm shop (well, table actually!) that sells all sorts of eggs, vegetables and so forth.
Do you accept group bookings?
We are a family and couples campsite, so sorry, we can’t accommodate large single sex bookings. Obviously dads and sons, mums and daughters are fine! Please call if you have any questions.
If you have any other questions please contact us.
